Amazing pizza!
If you are a person who is looking for a huge, fat pepperoni pizza to overeat this is not your place. Stuck with Dominos...
This place has thin, airy crust, great toppings and wonderful drizzles :-)
They have plenty of toppings including sweet corn that is popular topping in Europe, and you do not have to pay more for more toppings. Price is the same, so load everything on it and finish it with fig drizzle or ranch if it's more your style.
The location is not ideal so I really hope this business will survive! -

Reviews have been mainly positive about MOD Pizza since they opened up last year where Noodles and Company used to be before closing. They are based in Seattle and have been highly rated among fast casual restaurants in the country. So my girlfriend and I decided to give them a try.
Once you walk in, you can check out the menu before ordering at the counter. I chose the Mad Dog pizza which is mozzarella, red sauce, pepperoni, sausage and ground beef in a mod size thin crust. After ordering, it took 3-5 minutes for the pizza to be ready (here it's mega-fast). And there were hardly any people in the restaurant so the wait wasn't long at all. The result.....absolutely delicious. All of the ingredients on the thin crust were cooked perfectly and every time I ate a piece, it had a really good crunch. There were some parts that tasted burnt, but that's expected when they're baked in a really hot oven.
Overall, a very good experience at a fast casual restaurant for a very good price. Definitely check it out when you get the chance. -

So, people have been raving about this here on Yelp and we had a bit of a pizza emergency on a Sunday when lo and behold, our regular pizza places were closed. I'd been meaning to check this place out, so I loaded the kids in the car and headed over. The vibe of this place is like a Panera -- fast casual but with pizza. Basically you can customize your crust, sauce and toppings, and it's all one price based on the size of the pizza you order. And then wa-la, they cook it SUPER fast. Like in minutes. Let's just say, I had my suspicions/reservations about this system.
My kiddo ordered a small white pizza, which they did perfectly. It came with a thin crust, the white garlic sauce, fresh basil and cheese. I ordered the margherita pizza with a thick crust and added roasted garlic to it as well as a small caesar salad. Add in two milks for the kids, and the total came to $29. Both kiddos destroyed the pizza - the 6 year old said the white pizza was "soooo good mommy!" The salad was okay -- it had TONS of croutons on it, and also came with tomatoes which was a little different for a caesar salad, but not necessarily a bad thing. The margherita pizza was good -- I liked the roasted garlic addition. The base red sauce is a little spicy - definitely had a kick to it. And the think crust was ok -- sort of Neapolitan in design, but clearly not as quality as more traditional cooking methods (more doughy/chewy).
Overall, for a fast casual experience, it wasn't bad. I probably would have gone with 3 1/2 stars -- but the service bumped it up a notch. The staff was super friendly, and at one point even brought my children some free ice cream (they didn't eat it because they are crazy humans, but it was incredibly sweet of them). If you haven't checked this place out and need a quick bite, it's definitely worth being in your rotation. -

This is our first visit. The servers gave us time to review the menu. When they discovered we were first time visitors they were eager to explain everything. They were very helpful! They made the experience enjoyable.
The pizza look tasty. It's like a chipotle of pizzas. They said this is New York style. The place was quiet. No too messy however I do believe the bar could have been bit cleaner and the tables also had crumbs on most that I saw.
When we taste the food I will edit and update this review. -

We were traveling to OBX and wanted a place to stop and eat. As I have to eat Gluten Free, my choices are limited. Fortunately, we found MOD pizza. The restaurant was great! The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The location was clean & well cared for. Most importantly, The food was delicious.
Thank you!
